A resource box contains very brief but precise information about you and your business or service. It also contains the most important link, the URL of your website. This URL serves as the gateway for your readers to find or contact you. This could be easily the most important article marketing tip you can get from this article!
Since a resource box is limited in the number of characters, you need to be creative. You need to make your resource box stand out so that it catches your readers’ attention not just to read it, but to click the link in it.
Here are some points to remember to make sure your resource box is effective.
1. Don’t forget your name. Forgetting your name in your resource box is very (for lack of better word) stupid of you. Your readers might think twice about your article’s credibility if you’re not proud enough to own your work. It would appear so if your name is not in your resource box.
2. Don’t forget your website URL. Your URL link is the only way your readers can connect and contact you. You totally defeat the purpose of article marketing campaign if you don’t have your URL in your resource box.
3. Swing your pitch. Although you can’t put any sales pitch on your article body, but your resource box should contain the tone. You have to convince people about what makes you or your business unique.
4. Give some incentive. You might include a taste of the freebies you give away on your website should your reader visits it. Freebies are always welcome by anybody on the Web.
Now that you know how important the resource box is and what to put in them, start practicing and making several resource boxes before deciding on what to use. It’s better to be sure than sorry when it comes to your resource box.
