The role of groomsmen does not start on the wedding ceremony itself. It begins even before the wedding. They help in the wedding preparations and rehearsals. On the wedding day itself, they walk down the aisle with their bridesmaids and together, they attend to the needs of both bride and groom, as well as the maid of honor and best man.
